It's Nice Meeting Si Christina

7:00 AM

Yesterday I was stuck outside my parental home for a reason I don't wish to elaborate. My romantic-curls-cousin Hazel fortunately joined me in some time wasting and killing.

After Checking out Cafe Lago, (Si Christina, it's your time to shine!) we headed to San Pablo plaza to satisfy our tummy with good food.

Si Christina Gateau Sans Rival is prettily seated in the central area, a busy area of city of seven lakes. Actually it's the only thing that somehow not a "thumbs up" for me about the place. Passers by can easily spot you when you're dining in. A celebrity like me is easily distracted to that . (Charlamoist!)

Moving on, though it's a bit rainy my RC cousin won't let me go home without lavishing to the sweet taste of their Sans Rival. As we enter the premises, a warm hello from the staff welcomed us and then ushered us to a vacant table. We spotted an empty seat just near the entrance. I think Saturday is one of their peak days. Door seems to busy that day, people coming in and out, staff offer prompt service once a new guest comes in. Regardless how late it is, (it's almost their closing time when we came in) their staff still looks perky and friendly in spite of a busy day. Kudos to you guys!

This shop markets to different people, adjacent to our table was a mother and daughter in deep conversation, most probably it's about the daughter's allowance for next week (CHOSS!). At the other  a group kids, (teens, i guess!), with their school stuff occupying half of their table and yummy treats  on the rest (studying, really now?!). On the other side of the resto, a priest having a chit chat with, i believe the owner(not sure), recognize the priest since he's celebrating mass once in awhile in Carmelite Monastery.  Just beside them was a group of office girls, (they look like office girls to me??!!) most probably enjoying their RD, gossiping. Choss!

Moving on, lem'me spill the details about their mouth watering foodies. For my grumbling stomach, I ordered Pesto. Pesto is my favorite, because, because it's my favorite! Hehehe! Maybe because of the garlic, i love it! For a reasonable price of 125php, you'll have a rich with ingredients and flavor, Pesto Pasta. Chumming the tasty pesto was a grilled little chunks of chicken, which is just a perfect partner.

I also tried their Iced Caramel Latte, which is elegantly served in a glass goblet, however it didn't suits my taste. It's too bitter for me or maybe because of my yummy Sans Rival. Pistachio Sans Rival blown me away, it's so delicious that I forgot my name (OA!). Indeed they live by the name of their resto, they really serve the best Sans Rival ever that rolled in my tongue!Sarap eeehhh!!!

My RC cousin enjoyed their tasty Carbonara with bacon bits, sweet onion, red bell pepper and it's heavenly good! I can't help but to taste her dish, not that I'm a PG (patay gutom! pero parang ganun na nga! choosss!!) but she asked me too.
