PoppeD
11:29 AMPopped tells the story of Andie Bautista and her friends, Trixie, Nica and Cesca. The four of them have been brought together by what the initially call their "secret shame" -- a fondness for Korean dramas and KPop.
That secret shame soon blows up into a full blown obsession, as Andie and the guys end up not just collecting any available merchandise on their Korean idols, but going on trips to Tokyo and Korea just to watch thm perform and hopefully bump into them and be their friend, in real life.
Uhmmm... It's cute!
It reminds me of my Korean wanna-be friend @erinssi. She's the kind of girl that you'll find in this book. Ooohhh yes, head over heels with all Korean thingy! Especially with the Korean dramas and KPop. So you won't be surprise anymore if I'll tell you that I borrowed this book from her. Hehehe! But I got to admit that I have my own share of being crazy to their Korean dramas, especially when it's romantic comedy. And hhhheeeellllllooooooo???!!!! Who wouldn't want to meet their SEOULmate?!! Whhoooo??!! You?! You?! O sige! Ikaw na! :b
It was really funny most of the time since I'm a fan girl (not KPop) myself however I can't see myself doing the same things as they did. I can handle the craziness but all the spent cash going to Tokyo and Korea, naaahhh!! Those girls are unemployed but able to go out of the country! Wow, kayo na ang pensionado!! LOL
I'm not a KPop fan and it's craziness but I read it because of the cute illustration of the book (LOL) and besides I can handle the craziness and it's an OK book for me. Yun na!
