A Little of Quezon Province in the Metro
4:16 PMWhen I was in college, renting an apartment with some friends, their moms would visit them once in awhile to check on us. Honey's mom was originally from Quezon. So one morning when my clocked failed to woke me up, I rushed to the bathroom, luckily didn't tripped on the stairs, to take bath. As I hurriedly bathing myself, a strong aroma floats in the air. (I didn't fart!!! LOL!) Then Honey shouted, "Orange, bilisan mo! Nagluto si mame ng longganisang Lucban!" then my tummy replied, "GROWL! GROWL!". Since then it was included to my favorite lafiorts (food!).
Now after a few years, Honey is no longer my housemate. There's no mom visit, no more strong smell of Longganisang Lucban, since we don't have kitchenette at my new humble abode. (Just rice cooker. Toinks!) However, I have a bunch of friends who are PG as in "Palaging gutom". We discover this little restaurant, which is famous by actually. I think I was little been exploring way out.
Buddy's is just minutes away from office. Their menu offers a lot of Quezon province foodies such as pansit lugloog, Lucban longganisa, chami, pansit hab-hab and a lot of mouth watering delicious dish. Me and some friends indulge ourselves to some serving of Chami and of course my faburitto Lucban Longganisa with Garlic rice. As I'm writing this my tummy is growling, craving for some buddy's foodies. Might as well pass by later since it's not that heavy on the pocket.
Ooohh yeah... So pahiyas is just minutes away... ANYTIME! Same thing with Lucban Longganisa, damn!!! (drooling!!) Hopefully this is the answer to my 2 years old goal... to gain weight. Sounds a good plan?! Let's see!
