Relax... It's Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre

8:43 PM

Bienvenida! Boa Vinda! Bienvenue! Selamat Datang! Benvenuto! Mabuhay!
Welcome!

For our third stop... It's Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre!

Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre is situated at 11 Cavenagh Road. It's near the Somerset MRT station which is about 5 minute walk from the hotel. A block from the famous Orchard Road and close by a freeway ramp. If you are one of those people who can't live without shopping malls, Eureka, welcome to your oasis! Orchard road has a lot to offer by it's side by side by side by side by side... **pheew!** by side malls. One thing that fascinated me is their Louis Vuitton shop, having a long que of people buying their super expensive bags **kayo na yan!! ako'y isang inggitera! Bow!**.Oooohhh and one more thing, it's how the chirping birds overpowered the noise of buses and vehicles in the busy district of Singapore. Coolio!
As we entered the hotel, the lovely chandelier kept my mouth open until I realized I have to close it to keep unwanted species entering my mouth, ie fly or anything of it's kind. The lobby is well lighted and decorated exceptional giving you the feeling of sophistication but in a way still homie.

It was a little before 2pm when we checked in. In a foreign land, it's always fun to meet people who are from the same land. Just as we entered the hotel and put down our luggage on one of their elegant couch, one of the staff approach us to give us some assistance. "Good Afternoon po Ma'am!", automatically we looked at her "Pinoy!", and showed her a big smile, then we do a little chit chat. Apir!

Checking In is sooo easy, it's the same procedure... gave my name, handed my passport, and then some signature. Front desk gave me my room access card and welcoming letter... then off to our room.

Two Double Beds Premium Executive Room

We had a room that was by the main road outside and the noise haven't kept us for having a goodnight sleep! Although I'm not sure if it's because of a soundproof room or we're just too tired after several days of hotel hopping and quick tour of SG.

The only SG hotel i've stayed in with fried rice in their buffet brekky! sinangag! tsalap!

I really love this restaurant, not only because of the yummy fried rice that i haven't seen in any buffet brekky I had in SG except here, but as well as the atmosphere. Staff are so warm and vibrant, and people as well that morning are so friendly, you can't help but smile. Friendly guest, warm staff, sumptuous meal and awesome ambiance... whattaway to start a beautiful day! And lastly the small play area for the kids is really cute, maybe that made the ambiance more light and homie.
