My House Husband: Ikaw na!
11:12 AMIn "My Househusband:Ikaw na!" Eugene Domingo plays Aida, A mistress who happens to be Rod (Ryan Agoncillo) and Mia's (Judy Ann Santos) neighbor. With Mia always away,Rod and Aida develop a friendship that even has the Mrs. jealous at one point. When Rod lost his job, Mia again started to work as a part time insurance policy agent and the conflicts within their families started when Mia and Rod are being beaten by their pride, strategies and how to solve their financial constraints.
Fresh from frendshift get together all the way from Bulacan, we decided not to end our day with the long trip (darn traffic!) going back to Manila, we alighted as soon as the bus stops at SM North Edsa (waaah! first time ko! LOL)...

Deary Renzie paid for our movie tickets (punishment cancelled several night outs, wag tularan! LOL) and equally generous Ninang Gracee treated me for a bucket of popcorn (how will i suppose to watch a movie without it, eerr, how can you breathe with no air?! get it?! arte much?!)...
Anyhow lem'me just relate to you guys how we ended up with our movie choice...
As you all know that was still Metro Manila Film Festival Week. I'm actually eyeing Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story because I heard a lot of good reviews of the underdog film. Surprisingly it bagged the highest award being the best picture out of 7 movies. However when we checked on the schedule we'll have to wait for about 2 hours since it's already starting. Next choice is Enteng ng Ina Mo, however Lubay or is it Brenda?! already watched it. Next.. Uhmmm Segunda Mano, Renzie crossed it out on his watch list already (he finds it corny!).Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow... NOOO!
Until we only have two on ur list, Shake, Rattle and Roll 13 or My Househusband:Ikaw na!, Renzie watched Juday's film already however I have never watched a horror flick for the longest time, and I don't want to dare because I knerr (know, aussie slang) it already, I'm one helluva scaredy-cat! So as you know using some force (LOL) I decide for the group... Haaayyy!! Why am I soooo chick, chick, chicken??!!
too much for my kwento.. MY VERDICT
It's a feel-good movie. However the good part was lacking when I step out the movie house. Superstars like Judy Ann Santos and Eugene Domingo are far from questioning with the not soo good result of it, same thing with Papa Ryan which is very familiar with the said role (married to Juday?!).I didn't felt their lines, the story wasn't that catchy or they didn't build up each scenes well so everything was so forgettable. I'm sorry mom this is what I really felt (Mom is Juday die-hard) but the thought of opening the people's mind of somehow taboo issue in a light manner makes us value our family more, the value of keeping the marriage together, despite of money matters, friendship and taking responsibilities.
