I know! It rhymes! As my blog title implies, I spent three weeks with IT people, helping them out, and offering assistance with their work. It sounds like someone's wanted to be nominated for the employee of the year award huh?! but on the contrary, no. Definitely not! **off the phone for four hours is better than the award. choss!** It's been what?! Uhmmm 4 turning 5 years with the company?! And this will be my first time to experience cross training program. With cross training, you'll have the chance to do what the Romans do. :b Uhhmmm what I mean to say is you'll experience to work with other department in such, you'll have an idea how it goes in their area of expertise. In my case it's with IT peeps. After some test and implementation of the company's new system, they decided to have the computer refresh program where they will change the mac mini's into hp machines. Since they only have limited people in the said department and the refresh program requires a lotof work *deploying, configuring, imaging), they asked for my expertise. Yes, you heard it right, my expertise! That's to unbox the newly delivered machines! Nyahaha! I completed three weeks and still asked for an extension. Although it was like two months after they granted my request but nevertheless it was fun and fulfilling experience. To PHLRO IT Peeps, I raise my glass to you guys! Cheers!
