When you pray for it, you'll get it, in His perfect time. Not late, not too early, just in His time. And I, ladies and gents, is the living proof of that. I've prayed for someone who will sweep me off my feet, my version of knight and shining armor, my own "Popoy" ( guess who's Basha? Halleer?!), my sweetie pie, honey bunch, my lovey (corny alert! Goosebumps I know! Hahahaa!) Ooohhh yes, yes, I prayed for him... My B! 😍😍😍

It's been three months and counting, with that short span of time, it's been chaotic. Chaotic in a good way, but of course, I wouldn't be writing this if it weren't 😁. I've learned that being in a relationship is isn't all about the fuzzy feeling that the butterflies do in your stomach, or maybe the sweet notes and "kilig" moves. It's more of learning to share yourself with someone apart from your own. Telling everything rather than filtering. Being considerate enough to share everything, may it be good (better? Best?) bad ( badder?! Charot! Worse? Worst?!)! Easy? Wait until you get into one. Hahaha! Yes, it's a bit of a chore since most of my adult life, I have myself to take care of myself. I'm used to have everything my way, without someone to ask (sounds cold? Freeze! Baby! Freeze). Good thing Papa Jesus gave me someone who is patient enough to wait and someone who can teach me at the same time to let go and just trust. Though the struggle is more on me, still it has been a fun, crazy, mushy, corny, and sometimes sprinkled with misunderstandings but yes at the end of the day, lessons are learned, we compromise and meet halfway. And we're planning to have more love and craziness on the side.

Nobody knows what the future may brings, but since prayers brought us here, I'll continue to pray and hope to still have him in the future. Good thing, two mouth are better than one.... I heard him praying the same. One in prayer baby! 😉😉😉

So for this month of January I'm focusing on sleeping ( what time is it?! I need to sleep), drinking 1.5 liters of water a day (minimum for women is 1.5 while 2 liters for men), exercise, reading, writing, my finances, cooking.

I had formulated some rules so I can somehow achieve it. Like celphone ban during bed time, lights off at 9am (working as vampire in the city), yeah some of it are those.

Honestly, everything is only in my head, I'll be more specific and detailed on my next entry. As of the moment lemme give in to sleeping. I'm still forcing myself to this a-must-7-hours-of-sleep.

Wish me luck!

O

Maybe we are all meant to fly and soar high. Yes, I think we are all intended to be free and happy!

As a Christmas gift, a friend received an electronic bike from his pops. Yeah, technology emerge that something that you can pedal to move, can now be like a swish and flick Harry Potter style, your keys as your wand. Tadaaaaa! Lunch time last night, he invited me to grab a burger from a fast food chain and we rode the night away with his E-bike.

As soon as I rode it, I feel a bit uneasy knowing that we will be traveling a main road with the fast and furious cars in Makati. I hold on to my seat, one hand with my smart phone. As we moved forward, the cold breezy air of the night touches my face, fiddles my hair and it felt so liberating. I feel so brave, trusting the bike and the one who holds the grips.

Maybe sometimes we just need to get out our comfort zone, doing something out of our ordinary routines. It is somehow a gift to oneself. Gift, so you can know your self a little better, your limitations.

So I declare this year will definitely a year of getting out and be visible into the unknown. To really live and love life. To be a better version of myself.

Cheers to a liberating 2016!

Year 2015 is a challenge. Pain, heartaches, disappointment, betrayals and lotsa bucket of tears, yes, 2015 gave it to me in one blow. Ironically, it's the same year that I finally gave in to Gods invitation to know Him better (which I'm really grateful).

It's been years that I gone back to church and attended Sunday's mass and add to that some worship and preaching. Couple of years ago, I prayed to Daddy God to lead me on a path where I can serve Him in church. And as they said everything we want are provided by Daddy God, the question is "are you ready for it?". Everything are within our grasp, the question is "are you ready to extend those arms and claim it?".

As if everything was planned, He prepared me to be one of His servant. Late second quarter of the year, I attended a retreat which led me to people who fulfilled one of my dreams. To serve and know Him better. Thank You! I know it's all You're doing.

I've learned a lot this year because of spending more time with Him. I've met a lot of precious people who are living proof of how great our God is.

What's ironic? When I thought everything will be an easy breezy because I'm closer to Him ever than before, I'm wrong. It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. It seems that compared from the previous years, I cried a lot. I opened, bare myself more than I used to. I told my stories to someone I didn't know. I turned into mushy cry baby. I voice out my emotions a little better. However all of this are showing my weaknesses and yes, this isn't in my vocabulary. I guess Daddy God let my defenses down, reminded me that it's okay to trust again, that it's alright to be me, that I can just be me.

Yes, it is a painful year but guess what?! the trials I've been through is like a painful therapy. Daddy God is my doctor. I know He is saving me from greater pain. The pain of bigger problem, of being stuck, and losing my faith. I'm somehow feeling refreshed and relaxed after all.

I know it's a series of therapy and I'm willing to undergo, even it takes a lifetime.  I know I'm in good hands.

I'm ready 2016, I have my Daddy God to back me up!
