Santa was here!
9:19 PMIt’s again, the time of the year, the time of gift giving and get together with deary family. Okay, guilty as charge, I myself don’t get thrilled with the celebration anymore. I dunno if it’s because of the grown up responsibility I have or I just want more time on my own. Actually this year wasn’t different compared to what I had last year and the year before that, until my mom propose a special fun project. Early that Christmas Eve’s eve, my mom asked if she can use the unused laundry bag got from holiday inn… “And what will you do with it?!” Uhhmm instead of gift socks, they want Kirsten to have a gift sack where Santa Claus can put his gift to our baby girl. Afterwards my mom harassed me to put something in, nothing fancy, she just wants each one of us play Santa for Boo Tenten. Aside from that my mom asked me to use my best actress skill when it’s time to open the gifts. After attending the mass, Noche Buena mode on. We are on a tight budget for this Christmas, thanks to my dad who applied his magic to what I can provide, a sumptuous feast, indeed! Boo ten slowly gone to dream land while I told her Santa’s whereabouts. I promised to wake her up when Santa decided to drop by. Exactly midnight, after setting up all gifts in the living room, I woke her up. Priceless… Ten’s reaction seeing the gifts and knowing that Santa dropped by, undeniably, priceless. I maybe looking on things differently, more complicated (I guess?!) but sometimes in the eyes of a child, you’ll see the true meaning of life. Simple as it is, happiness.
